Save the gas, save the time: send your files to us electronically for printing.
Consider these three options:
1) If you want to send us a few files for proof prints or an 11 x 14, just email them. You have a 9.5 MB limit when sending to us by email. Use Images[at]kohnes.com as the address. Don't forget to include your name, phone number and all instructions in the body of your email.
2) If you want to send files in large quantities and/or on a regular basis, then please sign up for ftp access. See Below.
You can sign up in our store, OR, just email us with your full name (or Company name) and your choice of password to get into our system. You will receive a return email with instructions and a notice that you're set up and ready-to-send. Don't forget to include your name, phone number and all instructions in a separate Word, Notepad, Excel, TextEdit or jpg document.
3) Use the Kohne WEB-Lab instead.
With WEB-Lab, you can see your images, choose quantities and sizes, paper surface, shipping preference, and provide special instructions all online with no special computer knowledge needed. Your order will be prepaid, so anyone can pick it up (or, of course, it'll ship right to your front door).
Sign-Up is absolutely free and there are no hidden costs. Click the link on the left to get started, start ordering in 5 minutes! Kohne quality, in-home convenience; this is your best choice.
Note for FTP Users: if you send via ftp access to Kohnes, please include all your instructions: how many, what paper surface, your deadline, mounting/laminating instructions, etc. The instruction file may be in WORD or EXCEL on Windows computers, TextEdit or SimpleText on Apple computers. Instructions may also be sent as a jpg if you like.
You will need an ftp client (software program) to ftp your files to us. Try Core FTP if you're using MicroSoft ME, 98, or Vista. If you have a website, you probably already use such a program for this purpose.
Call us and ask for Mike (Windows) or Gary (Apple) for technical support.
For Mac users, we recommend FETCH (not free), or CyberDuck (free) or if you really want to be cool, you can use a Dashboard widget by the name of Ubertragen (Mac 10.4 or later) (free).
All ftp users should be on high speed connections (DSL, satellite, or better).
Include your written instructions and we'll take it from there. Please include your phone number.
