Do you do repairs?
While some repairs can be done in-house, if your camera needs further attention, we will take care of all of the hassles of shipping, handling, and managing your repair process so you don't have to.
Do you repair more than just cameras?
Absolutely! We repair cameras, lenses, camera accessories, flashes, printers, projectors, binoculars, and much more!
Do I need to leave it for evaluation?
Yes. In order to ensure we give your camera the time and care it deserves, we must take it in for evaluation so we can spend the proper time with it checking settings and all possible solutions to make sure you get your camera back in good working order if possible.
Is it worth fixing?
Most of the time, it is more economical to repair a camera but it depends on its age, model, what exactly is wrong with it, and if it has any sentimental value to you.
How long does the initial evaluation take?
Our initial evaluation of it usually takes about 2-3 business days. If it must go out for further estimating, this process usually takes a few weeks.
How long do repairs usually take?
Repairs can take about 4-6 weeks or more depending on the issue, parts availability, and how quickly you approve the repair.
Do you provide loaner equipment while my equipment is out for repair?
We have equipment available for rent if you have an upcoming event.
When do I pay for my repair?
In order to provide the fastest repair service, payment is made when you approve the repair. We accept all major credit and debit cards over the phone or cash, check, or card in person if you prefer.
What should I bring when I drop off my camera?
Only the camera and any other piece that might be related to the problem. Please leave camera bags, extra cords, cases, etc. at home as we will not need them. In most cases, your memory card will not be taken in with the camera either unless the repair issue pertains to memory.
If my camera must be shipped out, what shipping service do you use?
In most cases we use UPS.
Are they insured in transit?
Definitely! Repair fees cover shipping, handling, and insurance on your camera both ways.
What is the warranty on a repair?
This may vary based on the repair facility used and what was repaired, but ranges anywhere for 30 days to 6 months.
