Basic DSLR Class

This is our intro class and we'll demystify everything concerning shutter speeds, apertures and ISO settings so that you can take your camera off the AUTOMATIC setting and start getting the professional results you want.

This class delves into why you just might want to go ahead and use Manual Mode. On the other hand, maybe you won't want to,
but after this class, you'll be able to make an informed decision.
We’ll also cover the details of White Balance as well as how and why to set your Focus Point(s);
plus, we’ll look at traditional camera settings and how you would use them in the field and on the fly for full creative control.
If you're new to Lightroom, this is the place to start. This class deals with fundamental workflow and organization.
Once you understand the structure of Lightroom, its time to start polishing and sweetening your images for fun or profit. learn the editing commands that will make your images stand out.
This travel-specific presentation will give you the tips and tricks you'll need to document your travels with finesse and style.
BEGINNING Sports Photography
From equipment concerns to the dos-and-don'ts, this one covers what you need to know about sports-oriented photography indoors and out.
Portrait lighting with artificial light. The pros and cons of continuous lights and electronic strobes. What's best for you. We will also discuss lighting pasterns, light modifiers and the quality of light. How to produce dramatic and beautiful portraits with artificial light.
6/25 2-4 PM
How to shoot better photographs with an on camera speedlight. We will also discuss the use of multiple off camera speedlights to produce beautiful light for portraits. Trigger controls and light modifiers for speedlights.
9/10 4pm-until finished
How to use speedlights, or a simple reflector to bring life to your portraits. What lens to use, how to choose a background, and how to pose your subject. Live models will help demonstrate these techniques.
